Learn how to make an open paneer and veg mayo sandwich that is perfect for
breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This dish combines creamy paneer cheese with
crunchy vegetables, all served on a white sandwich bread. It's so tasty
and healthy - packed full of vegetables and protein.
Ingredients
For marination
- 300gm paneer, cubed
- 1tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1tbsp tandoori chicken masala
- 1tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
Sandwich preparation
- Sandwich bread
- Sriracha mayo sauce
- Green chutney
- 2 large potatoes, boiled & sliced
- 1 large green capsicum, diced
- Sandwich masala
- Mozzarella cheese
- Dried mixed herbs
Instructions
Paneer seasoning
- Cut paneer into squares and put it in a mixing bowl.
- Add ginger garlic paste, tandoori chicken masala, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and marinate for 30 mins.
For sandwich
- Preheat oven to 200°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place slices of sandwich bread in the tray.
- Apply butter, green chutney and sriracha mayo sauce on the bread.
- Place potatoes slices on the bread and spread a bit of sriracha sauce on it.
- Place paneer on top of the potatoes and place chopped capsicum in the gap between the paneer.
- Repeat for all the slices of bread.
- Sprinkle sandwich masala and garnish lavishly with mozzarella.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese melts completely.
- Remove and serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce.
