  • ½ cup fresh coriander
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup green peas
  • 1 big potato slices
  • 1 green capsicum
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 cardamom
  • 3 small sticks cinnamon
  • Salt to taste
Dry Masala
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder1 ½ tbsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp gram masala powder

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a vessel and add the whole garam masala in it. Sauté it for 30 second or till it becomes aromatic.
  2. Add the chopped onion in it and sauté it till it turns a golden brown.
  3. Add all the dry masala and chopped green chillies. Give it a good mix and put some water to maintain consistency.
  4. Add the mince meat and the tomatoes to the pot. Now add the salt and mix well. Put half the fresh coriander along with half a glass of water.
  5. Cover and cook on a low flame for 10 to 15 minutes then add potato slices, green peas and capsicum. Cover and cook on a low flame for another 5-7 minutes or till the potatoes are done.
  6. Add butter and stir, cook for 1 minute with the lid on. Garnish with fresh coriander.
  7. Serve hot with butter naan, rice or chapatti!

Tips:

Adding butter cubes or fresh cream gives the Mutton Keema a creamy texture and richer in taste. Pair this Mutton Recipe with Pav (crusty bread) to enhance the taste.
