Air Fryer Coconut Prawns Recipe

Air fried Coconut prawns turn out so juicy and moist on the inside,
crispy on the outside just like regular deep fried prawns but without
all the calories or mess.
Ingredients
- ½ cup flour
- ½ tsp crushed black pepper
- ½ tsp chill powder
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- ⅔ cup sweetened flaked coconut
- ⅓ cup Panko bread crumbs
- 300g prawns, peeled and deveined, with tails on
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat an air fryer to 180°C.
- Take prawns in a bowl and add black pepper, chilly powder salt and marinate the prawns. Set aside.
- Take flour in a shallow dish. In a second shallow dish, put eggs. In a third shallow dish, stir together panko and coconut.
- Hold the prawns by its tail and dredge in flour, then dip in eggs and dredge in coconut mixture. Make sure to not coat the tail.
- Arrange the prawns in air-fryer basket and coat with oil. Cook, for 15 mins at 180°C or until golden brown, turning over halfway through.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce.
