If you love crispy fish, this is a simple fish fry recipe to look forward to. This simple recipe can also be served as a snack or appetiser.

Ingredients

  • 500gm boneless fish of your choice
  • oil for frying
  • coriander for garnish
  • Salt to taste
For Marination
  • 1 ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp ginger garlic paste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add the fish with all the spices for the marinade and coat the fish evenly. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in a frying pan and once the oil is hot turn the flame to medium. Fry the pieces of fish turning it on both sides till it becomes crisp on the outside or looks done.
  3. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with coriander and squeeze a bit of lemon. Serve while it’s hot!

Tips:

To enhance the taste of the fish fry add a little gram flour or corn flour to the marinade

To get a crispy taste, fry until golden brown on both sides.
