Who says street food can’t be healthy? Try our chickpea chaat with it’s refreshing taste and quick preparation, it’s going to be your new go to snack.

Ingredients

  • 400g boiled or canned chickpeas
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ a cucumber, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup pomegranate, deseeded
  • 1tsp black ground pepper
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ½ a lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander for garnish
  • sev for garnish
  • ½ cup sweet yogurt

Instructions

  1. Drain & mix the chickpeas with the onions & cucumber.
  2. Add all the spices & the lemon juice. Mix well to evenly coat the salad.
  3. Garnish with coriander & sev.
  4. Serve with sweet yogurt & tamarind chutney.
