These delectable mutton mince kebabs are a must try. So easy to prepare, and a real treat for meat lovers! Serve these kebabs with mint sauce & lemon.

Ingredients

  • 500 gm finely minced meat (lamb or goat)
Spice Marinade
  • 4 tbsp gram flour, roasted
  • 1 big onion, coarsely diced and water drained
  • 1 bowl of coriander leaved, chopped
  • 10 to 15 mint leaves. chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 medium caramelised onion, dried and crushed
  • 1½ tsp coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 4 green chilies, coarsely crushed in the grinder
  • 1 lemon, to squeeze
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take minced meat in a bowl, add spice marinade and mix well.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or 5-6 hours.
  3. Remove the chilled mixture from the refrigerator and keep it at room temperature for 30 mins.
  4. Apply cooking oil to your hands and shape the mixture into a patty. The mixture should yield 18-20 kebabs.
  5. In a frying pan bring to heat about 1 inch of oil. Turn the flames to medium and fry the kebabs in batches of 5 for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway. Once they are blackish brown on each side, transfer them to a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Serve hot with onions, lemon, mint sauce or ketchup!
